Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour, salt, and baking soda in a separate bowl; gradually add this mixture to the creamed mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pecans until evenly mixed.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
